This Marketplace Risk Disclosure (“Disclosure”) explains certain risks associated with using the Liamgo platform.
This Disclosure applies to all users of the Liamgo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Disclosure is incorporated into and forms part of the Liamgo Terms of Service, Service Provider Agreement, Customer Terms and Conditions, and other applicable platform policies.
By using the Platform, users acknowledge and accept the risks described in this Disclosure.
1. Marketplace Platform
Liamgo operates as a technology marketplace platform that connects customers with independent Service Providers who offer services in various categories.
Liamgo does not perform or directly provide the services offered by Service Providers on the Platform.
Service Providers operate as independent businesses or individuals who are responsible for the services they provide.
2. Independent Service Providers
Service Providers listed on the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Liamgo.
Service Providers are responsible for:
- their services
- their conduct
- their compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- maintaining any licenses or insurance required for their services.
Liamgo does not supervise or control the manner in which Service Providers perform their services.
3. Service Quality and Performance
Liamgo does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of services offered by Service Providers.
Customers are responsible for evaluating the qualifications, reputation, and suitability of Service Providers before booking services.
4. User Interactions
Interactions between customers and Service Providers may occur through the Platform or in person.
Liamgo does not control or supervise these interactions.
Users assume responsibility for their decisions when engaging with other users of the Platform.
5. Risk of Transactions
Transactions conducted through the Platform involve risks that may include:
- service dissatisfaction
- scheduling issues
- communication misunderstandings
- disputes between customers and Service Providers.
Users acknowledge that these risks are inherent in marketplace transactions.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Liamgo does not guarantee:
- successful service outcomes
- availability of Service Providers
- booking confirmations or scheduling outcomes
- financial results for Service Providers.
Marketplace activity may vary based on user demand and provider availability.
7. Safety Considerations
Users should exercise reasonable caution when interacting with other users on the Platform.
Customers and Service Providers should take appropriate steps to ensure their safety and security when engaging in services arranged through the Platform.
8. Platform Role
Liamgo’s role is limited to providing a digital platform that facilitates connections between users.
Liamgo may provide certain tools or features to assist users, such as:
- messaging tools
- booking systems
- payment processing.
However, Liamgo does not assume responsibility for the performance of services arranged through the Platform.
9. Disputes Between Users
Disputes between customers and Service Providers may occur.
While Liamgo may provide limited assistance in resolving disputes, users remain primarily responsible for resolving issues related to services performed through the Platform.
Dispute procedures may be governed by the Customer Dispute Resolution Policy and other applicable policies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liamgo shall not be liable for damages arising from:
- services provided by independent Service Providers
- actions or omissions of users
- disputes between customers and Service Providers
- service performance issues.
Users agree that they engage with other users of the Platform at their own discretion and risk.
11. Changes to This Disclosure
Liamgo may update this Disclosure periodically.
Updates will be posted with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclosure.
