This Payment Processing Disclosure (“Disclosure”) explains how payments are processed when customers use the Liamgo platform to book services.

This Disclosure applies to all users of the Liamgo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Disclosure is incorporated into and forms part of the Liamgo Terms of Service, Customer Terms and Conditions, Service Provider Agreement, and other applicable platform policies.

By using the Platform to make or receive payments, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Disclosure.

1. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments made through the Liamgo Platform are processed by a third-party payment processor.

Liamgo may use a payment service provider such as Stripe or other authorized payment processors to facilitate transactions.

These payment processors are responsible for securely handling payment information and processing transactions.

2. Payment Authorization

By submitting payment information through the Platform, customers authorize Liamgo and its payment processor to:

  • charge the selected payment method for services booked through the Platform
  • process applicable platform fees and service charges
  • process applicable taxes where required.

Payment authorization occurs when a customer confirms a booking or transaction.

3. Storage of Payment Information

Liamgo does not directly store complete credit card or payment details.

Payment information is processed and stored by the third-party payment processor in accordance with its security and compliance standards.

These processors typically comply with industry standards such as PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

4. Payment Processor Terms

Users may be required to agree to the terms and policies of the payment processor used by Liamgo.

These may include:

  • payment processing terms
  • privacy policies
  • identity verification requirements
  • fraud prevention measures.

Users agree to comply with the applicable payment processor’s terms when making or receiving payments through the Platform.

5. Transaction Fees

Payments processed through the Platform may include:

  • service fees set by the Service Provider
  • Liamgo platform fees
  • payment processing fees where applicable
  • applicable taxes.

Customers will be able to review the total charges before confirming a transaction.

6. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers who believe a charge was made in error should contact Liamgo support.

Disputes regarding service quality should be handled through the Customer Dispute Resolution Policy.

Unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in:

  • investigation by Liamgo
  • suspension of user accounts
  • additional fees where permitted by law.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the same payment processor used for the original transaction.

Refund timing may vary depending on:

  • the payment processor
  • the customer’s financial institution
  • fraud prevention reviews.

8. Fraud Prevention and Identity Verification

Payment processors may perform fraud detection or identity verification procedures.

These may include:

  • payment authorization checks
  • fraud monitoring systems
  • identity verification requests.

Users agree to cooperate with these processes when required.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liamgo shall not be liable for issues related to payment processing systems operated by third-party providers.

This includes issues such as:

  • payment processing delays
  • declined transactions
  • payment processor outages
  • fraud detection actions taken by payment processors.

10. Changes to This Disclosure

Liamgo may update this Disclosure from time to time.

Updates will be posted with a revised Last Updated date.

Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclosure.
