This Customer Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains the rules governing the cancellation of service bookings made through the Liamgo platform.
This Policy applies to all customers using the Liamgo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Liamgo Customer Terms and Conditions, Customer Booking Terms, and Terms of Service.
By requesting or booking services through the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
1. Customer Cancellations
Customers may cancel a service booking through the Platform before the scheduled service time.
Cancellations can be completed using the booking management features available within the Platform.
Customers are encouraged to cancel services as early as possible if the service is no longer needed.
2. Cancellation Timing
The timing of a cancellation may affect whether a cancellation fee applies.
Examples include:
- Early cancellations: cancellations made well in advance of the scheduled service time may not incur a cancellation fee.
- Late cancellations: cancellations made shortly before the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee.
The applicable cancellation terms may vary depending on the service category or provider.
3. Cancellation Fees
In certain circumstances, customers may be charged a cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees may apply when:
- a provider has already accepted the booking
- a provider has reserved time for the service
- the cancellation occurs shortly before the scheduled service time.
Any applicable fees will be disclosed through the Platform before the booking is confirmed.
4. Provider Cancellations
Service Providers may cancel bookings due to circumstances such as:
- scheduling conflicts
- safety concerns
- inaccurate job descriptions
- unforeseen circumstances.
If a provider cancels a booking, customers may be offered options to:
- rebook the service
- select another provider
- receive a refund where applicable.
5. No-Show Policy
If a customer fails to be present or available at the service location at the scheduled time, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
In such cases:
- the service may be canceled
- cancellation or service fees may apply.
Customers should ensure that providers have reasonable access to the service location at the scheduled time.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility may depend on factors such as:
- the timing of the cancellation
- whether the service provider has begun travel or preparation
- platform policies regarding refunds.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the payment method used for the original transaction.
7. Platform Role
Liamgo operates as a technology marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers.
Service Providers determine their availability and may reserve time for scheduled services.
This cancellation policy is intended to protect both customers and providers when scheduling services.
Abuse of Cancellation Policies
Customers may not misuse the cancellation system.
Examples of misuse include:
- repeatedly booking and canceling services
- canceling services after providers arrive
- attempting to avoid service fees.
Accounts engaging in abusive cancellation behavior may be subject to suspension or termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liamgo shall not be liable for losses arising from:
- canceled bookings
- scheduling conflicts
- provider availability issues
- cancellation fees applied in accordance with this Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
Liamgo may update this Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
