Liamgo Provider Background Check Policy
Effective Date: 15/05/2026
Last Updated: 15/05/2026
This Provider Background Check Policy (“Policy”) describes how Liamgo may use background checks for service providers using the Liamgo platform.
This policy applies to all service providers (“Service Providers,” “Providers,” or “you”) who offer services through the Liamgo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Liamgo Terms of Service, Service Provider Agreement, and Independent Contractor Agreement.
1. Purpose of Background Checks
Liamgo may conduct background checks on Service Providers in order to help promote safety and trust within the marketplace.
Background checks may be used to review certain information about providers before allowing them to offer services through the Platform.
However, background checks are only one component of maintaining a safe platform environment.
2. Third-Party Screening Providers
Background checks may be conducted by independent third-party screening providers.
These screening providers may collect and review information such as:
- identity verification information
- criminal history records (where legally permitted)
- public records
- other relevant information permitted by applicable law.
Providers may be required to consent to background screening in order to participate on the Platform.
3. Provider Consent
Service Providers may be required to provide authorization before a background check can be conducted.
By consenting to background screening, providers authorize Liamgo and its third-party screening partners to obtain and review relevant background information where permitted by law.
Providers may also be required to provide additional documentation to verify identity.
4. Limitations of Background Checks
Background checks have limitations and may not include all criminal history or records.
Liamgo does not guarantee that background checks will identify all potential risks or past conduct.
The completion of a background check does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of safety or reliability by Liamgo.
5. Provider Eligibility
Background check results may be considered when determining whether a provider may offer services through the Platform.
Liamgo reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate provider access based on background screening results where permitted by law.
Eligibility decisions may also consider other factors including platform behavior and policy compliance.
6. Ongoing Monitoring
Liamgo may periodically review or re-run background checks for providers where permitted by applicable law.
Providers may be required to update identity information or consent to additional screenings.
7. Compliance With Applicable Laws
Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy and consumer reporting laws.
Service Providers may have rights under applicable laws to request information regarding background check results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liamgo shall not be liable for:
- actions or conduct of Service Providers
- incomplete or inaccurate background check information
- failure to identify risks through background screening.
Background checks are provided as an additional screening tool and do not guarantee safety.
9. Changes to This Policy
Liamgo may update this Policy periodically.
Updates will be posted with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
