This Refund Handling Policy (“Policy”) explains how refund requests are reviewed, processed, and administered on the Liamgo platform.

This Policy applies to all users of the Liamgo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Liamgo Customer Refund Policy, Customer Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service, and other applicable platform policies.

By using the Platform to request services or make payments, users acknowledge and agree to the procedures outlined in this Policy.

1. Purpose of the Refund Handling Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to establish consistent procedures for reviewing and processing refund requests submitted by customers using the Platform.

Because Liamgo operates as a marketplace connecting customers with independent Service Providers, refund handling may involve coordination between the customer, the provider, and the Platform.

2. Submission of Refund Requests

Customers who believe they are entitled to a refund must submit a request through Liamgo support.

Refund requests should include:

  • booking reference or order details
  • a description of the issue
  • relevant documentation or evidence, when available.

3. Review Process

Refund requests may be reviewed by Liamgo support personnel.

During the review process, Liamgo may:

  • review booking records and transaction details
  • request additional information from the customer
  • contact the Service Provider involved in the booking
  • review communications related to the service.

Liamgo reserves the right to determine whether a refund request meets the criteria established in the Customer Refund Policy.

4. Refund Determination

Refund decisions may be based on factors including:

  • service completion status
  • cancellation timing
  • platform policies
  • information provided by the customer and the Service Provider.

Refund determinations may include:

  • a full refund
  • a partial refund
  • denial of the refund request.

Refund decisions made by Liamgo are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

5. Refund Processing Method

Approved refunds will generally be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Refunds will be issued through the Platform’s authorized payment processor.

Processing times may vary depending on:

  • the payment processor
  • the customer’s financial institution
  • fraud or compliance checks.

6. Provider Earnings Adjustments

If a refund is approved after a Service Provider has received payment, adjustments may be made to the provider’s earnings in accordance with the Service Provider Agreement and applicable payout policies.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Liamgo support before initiating a chargeback through their financial institution.

Unauthorized or abusive chargebacks may result in:

  • investigation by Liamgo
  • suspension or termination of accounts
  • recovery of disputed amounts where permitted by law.

8. Fraud Prevention

Liamgo reserves the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with platform policies.

Patterns of refund abuse may result in:

  • warnings
  • account suspension
  • permanent account termination.

9. Platform Discretion

Liamgo retains discretion in reviewing and resolving refund requests.

Refund decisions may take into account platform policies, transaction details, and the circumstances surrounding the service booking.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liamgo shall not be liable for refund decisions made in accordance with this Policy and other applicable platform policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

Liamgo may update this Policy periodically.

Updates will be posted with a revised Last Updated date.

Continued use of the Platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
